Okay, you got me... there isn't much here, is there? I guess I've always been rather utilitarian... you should see my room... couple of pieces of furniture and a computer (and the poor, poor computer desk that bends in the middle under the weight of my 21" monitor). Heck, I only recently restarted using a bed. (There was a perfectly good floor in my room! Just needs a blanket and a pillow...)
You'll also find that I'm a big believer in trying to keep light text on dark backgrounds. Most people I know who spend large amounts of time in front of a computer screen find this easier on their eyes. This page will be one of the few you see here with dark text.
If you have comments of my format or content, I'm happy to hear them; I'm trained as a programmer, and have a feeling that my idea of "good" web page design is pretty different from most people's; I blame it on being raised on non-graphical browsers.

About Nathan: This is my (hopefully short) description of myself. By definition, it's rather biased. If someone else wants to ever write their thoughts on me, I'll be happy to turn this page into a list of links to people's feelings about me. ;-)
Nathan's Answers: Here's where I stick a nice long two column table filled with vital statistics and my answers to all those get-to-know-your-friend-better quizzes that people send you in email. Thus, henceforth, when you send me one of those, you're going to get a link to that page. Be warned.
General Links: Herein you will find lots of links to places that I go regularly. With any luck, I will have tried to sort this list. If I'm feeling really proactive, I may even make it have a quick reference on top allowing you to navigate to the various sections within. But it'll probably just be a jumbled pile of links instead.
"Interesting" Links: This is where I place all my not-so-general-purpose links. If it's risque, or of particularly interesting political view, I'll toss it here. I figure this'll allow you to self regulate, if that's your thing. It'll also show you what I think you may think "risque" and "interesing political view" mean, which may make for an interesting thought experiment.
People Links: I've been lucky enough to meet lots of interesting people in my time on earth. Some I liked, some I didn't, but either way, they were unique. Several are nice enough to keep web pages. This is where I stick links to seek them out, and perhaps some quick description of why I find them, or their page, interesting.
Pictures: Sometimes, when I meet people, they take a picture of me. Or me of them. Or someone of the two of us. And so on. Sometimes these pictures aren't horrible, so they get saved here. Sometimes, they're so horrible, they get saved here, too.
Rants: This will probably start out empty, but eventually, it'll be where I stick my diatribes on various things. I've often said things that were good enough representations of how I feel that I've thought "I should write that down, since I'll never be able to put it that way again." Maybe if I actually make space for such things, I will. Here's hoping, at least.
